The race was held without qualification, and medals were awarded immediately. The best result among the “blue-yellow” was shown by Lisohor, who took 60th place, +2:51.6 minutes behind the winner. Dragun, on the other hand, finished about a minute behind Lisohor and completed the distance with a time of 24:20.3 minutes (71st).

The time trial was won by Norway's Johannes Klebo, who won his third gold medal at the 2026 Olympics, finishing in 20:36.2 minutes. The 10-kilometer race was the only one in cross-country skiing where Klebo was not a pre-Games favorite, but he added the win to his skiathlon and sprint championships.

For Klebo, this is also his eighth gold medal at the Olympic Games. With this result, he repeated the Olympic record for the number of “gold” medals at the Games.
