Australian freestyle skier Jacarra Anthony has become the Olympic champion in the women's dual moguls at the 2026 Games. This is the first gold medal in the history of women's dual moguls at the Olympics.
The women's double moguls event kicked off on the eighth day of competition at the 2026 Olympic Games. In this sport, athletes competed against each other on parallel tracks, where they had to descend while performing tricks on jumps.

How was the competition?
- The moguls competition began with a round of 32, with 28 freestylers competing, with two more—Jacarra Anthony and Elizabeth Lambley—qualifying automatically. The freestylers who advanced to the round of 32 were determined by their wins in duels, which were judged on trick technique and downhill speed.
- In the quarterfinals, two freestylers failed to finish, and the semifinals were won by Jacarra Anthony, Jalyn Kauf, Elizabeth Lambley, and Perrine Lafront. Anthony and Kauf advanced to the superfinal, while the other two freestylers failed to finish.
- The final part began with the downhill for the “bronze” between American Lambley and Frenchwoman Lafront, where Lambley became the medalist, earning one point more than her opponent for her downhill.
- In the grand final for the gold medal, the Australian Anthony won, beating the American Kauf by five points. For the Australian, this is the first “gold” of the Olympics in Italy, while Kauf won her second “silver” at the 2026 Games – before that she lost the final in the regular moguls.
