“Barkom-Kazhany” retained their place in the Plus League volleyball for the next season with three rounds remaining in the championship.

The Ukrainian team “Barkom-Kazhany” remained in the elite division of the Polish volleyball championship for the 2026/27 season. The team managed to maintain its place in the elite with three rounds remaining in the championship.

Barkom-Kazany entered the final part of the Polish Volleyball Championship in 12th place in the standings with 23 points. With three rounds remaining, the Lviv team had a seven-point lead over the last team in the championship, Norwid from Częstochowa.

To maintain their place in the elite division, Bark-Bats needed to win one of their last three matches, or hope that Częstochowa would suffer a defeat.

The first team to play their 24th match in the Polish Plus League was Norwid Częstochowa. The team faced Belchatow, who were in sixth place in the standings. As a result, the match ended with Belchatow winning in three sets.

Thus, Barkom-Kazhany maintained a seven-point lead over Norwid Częstochowa, with the Ukrainian team having played one match less. This means that the Ukrainian team will be playing its fifth season in the Plus League in volleyball.
