
Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina won the second consecutive Challenger title in Antalya, Turkey. In the final match, the Ukrainian defeated Slovenian tennis player Tamara Zidanšek in straight sets.
Kalinina reached the final of the Challenger tournament in Antalya on the back of the longest winning streak in the last five years — nine matches. The Ukrainian's opponent in the final was Slovenian Tamara Zidanšek. Before that, the tennis players were supposed to meet only once in a head-to-head match at the WTA tournament in Slovenian Portoroz, but the match did not take place then due to Kalinina's refusal.
In the first set, Kalinina left no chance for her opponent, winning “dry” – 6:0. Zidansek came close to closing the gap in the sixth game, forcing the Ukrainian to serve twice in the set, but in the end, the Slovenian tennis player was unable to change the score.
Kalinina started the decisive second set by winning three games in a row. Zidansek tried to close the gap, but in the end the match ended in a victory for the Ukrainian – 6:3.

Thanks to the victory in Antalya, Kalinina will advance 62 positions in the WTA rankings – rising to 127th place.
For Kalinina, the victory in the Antalya tournament was the second in a row. Before that, she defeated Oleksandr Oliynikova in the Ukrainian “derby”. Overall, this is the fourth WTA 125 title in the tennis player's career.
