
The final playoff matches in the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup have been held. The results determined the last four participants in this year's World Cup.
Eight teams that made it to the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers have now qualified for the finals. The final four qualifying play-off matches were to determine which teams would join the teams that had qualified directly for the 2026 World Cup.
The Ukrainian national team did not make it to the playoff final, losing to Sweden with a score of 1:3. And the Swedes were matched in the fight for a place in the World Cup by the Polish national team, which beat Albania with a score of 2:1.
Other qualifying finals featured Kosovo and Turkey, who defeated Slovakia and Romania respectively; the Czech Republic, who defeated Ireland; and Denmark, who advanced to the final by defeating North Macedonia; as well as Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- Bosnia and Herzegovina – Italy 1:1 (4:1 on penalties)
- Sweden — Poland 3:2
- Kosovo — Turkey 0:1
- Czech Republic — Denmark 2:2 (3:1 on penalties)
