
Norwegian pole vaulter Sondre Guttormsen became the sixth athlete of the season to clear 6.00 m. This happened at the competition in Rouen, France.
The competition in Rouen was the most competitive of the season in terms of the fight for the “gold”. The main contender for victory was the Greek Emmanuel Karalis, who cleared the bar of 6.17 m at the national championship, becoming the second best pole vaulter in history.
