Seven chiefs of governmental animal health centers have been notified of misgivings. This information was released by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Ruslan Kravchenko, UNN reports.

Currently, seven directors of state veterinary clinics have been informed of suspicions. The matter of selecting cautionary actions for them is presently under consideration.

– Kravchenko stated.

According to his statement, the preliminary legal inquiry is in progress, and efforts are being made to identify all implicated parties.

As the Prosecutor General Kravchenko disclosed, a plan to extract revenue from pet possessors intending to travel internationally with their animals was uncovered in governmental animal health institutions in Kyiv. This involved intentionally prolonging procedures and accelerating the process for a “gratuity” ranging from 7,000 to 12,000 UAH, and the directors of two animal hospitals were apprehended.
