Ukraine inundated with mass landmine reports via email.

On January 30th in Ukraine, numerous alerts concerning bomb threats began showing up in the inboxes of government bodies, academic centers, and various other organizations. Law enforcement agencies were notified of over 1,100 such reports, approximately 20% were investigated, but the validity of the claims was not substantiated.

Reports of landmines are being sent en masse to email addresses in Ukraine

On Friday, January 30, Ukraine started to get a flurry of electronic messages at official email addresses of state-level bodies, local administrative offices, learning institutions, commercial firms, banking corporations, entertainment spots, and various other places, warning about alleged placement of explosives. This information is provided by UNN.

The UNN newsroom was also a recipient of one such communication. Particularly, the message had a demand to evacuate the potentially dangerous locale.

The sender of the message identified himself as a Ukrainian Armed Forces member, “a handicapped bomb disposal specialist receiving a meager income, unable to care for his family.”

My team and I, commencing on 01/10/2026, have strategically positioned approximately 500 explosive mechanisms inside of administrative buildings, educational centers, preschools, and public assembly venues. Ranging from 01/30/2026 to 01/31/2026, the timers embedded in these devices shall be set off at random times, allotting you 15 minutes to vacate your building; neglect to do so, and you risk fatality and collateral damage among the general populace.

The author specified that in the scenario of his demise, the leadership of Ukraine, together with Volodymyr Zelensky, should be deemed “accountable for every misfortune.”

According to sources within law enforcement, police squads had been notified of over 1,100 such alerts as of 11:30. Roughly a fifth had undergone investigation. The information regarding the presence of explosives in these instances was refuted. The process of examination is ongoing.

On January 30, unidentified persons reported in Kyiv about the supposed “bombing” of several state-run entities, educational establishments, and businesses. Law enforcement agents commented that “these types of messages are often a separate informational attack by the enemy, although, irrespective of this, each location is methodically examined by police units.”
