Train Hit Near Chop-Barvinkove: Remains of Five Identified

Following the assault by Russia on the Chop-Barvinkove train carrying passengers in the Kharkiv area, remnants of five individuals were located. Recognizing the dead will only be achievable after DNA analysis.

Remnants of five corpses were discovered in the Kharkiv region in the wake of the Russian Federation’s strike against the Chop-Barvinkove passenger train. The Kharkiv regional prosecution office communicated this information, UNN conveys.

Until now, segments of five bodies are accounted for. Ascertaining the identities of those who perished will only be feasible once genetic testing has been carried out.

Important to recall

The Russian Federation employed UAVs to hit a commuter train traveling in the Kharkiv region with the route “Barvinkove – Lviv – Chop”.

Based on initial details, the adversary engaged three Shahed UAVs in the assault. The impact points were on the lead locomotive and within a railcar transporting passengers, instigating a blaze.

There were 291 travelers on the train. Individuals were removed as rapidly as possible. Currently, there are two wounded   – they were brought out by personnel of the train and then given to paramedics. Both have been admitted into healthcare establishments.
