As per his statement, the key elements behind traffic mishaps causing severe outcomes encompassed going beyond the allowable and posted velocity, flouting traffic protocols at uncontrolled pedestrian crossings, neglecting guidelines during directional shifts, not keeping a secure separation, and disregarding traffic rules at uncontrolled intersections.
The most typical kinds of incidents involving casualties persisted as vehicle crashes, pedestrian impacts, and impacts with stationary items.
Notably, the year recorded 643 traffic incidents involving casualties where motorists were under the influence. These incidents led to 73 deaths and 857 injuries. Annually, authorities prepared 138,047 citations for operating vehicles under the influence.
Moreover, in 2025, the automated system for speed enforcement issued over 4.6 million citations for exceeding speed limits. Via manual means, officers issued more than 733,000 further citations.
The patrol division indicated their ongoing daily commitment to preventative strategies aimed at decreasing incidents and maintaining heightened surveillance along routes.
