A denizen of Kyiv pledged to facilitate the hiring of a woman, found guilty of a vehicular incident, as a field medic within a military formation, for a sum of $18,000. He was apprehended during the receipt of the cash, and the individual is currently in detention.

An attempt to utilize mobilization to circumvent just penalty has been uncovered in the capital. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine communicated this development; UNN reports.

Based on the inquiry, an individual from Kyiv proposed to orchestrate the enlistment of a female, condemned to a five-year prison term for a deadly traffic mishap, for $18,000. It was alleged that he would arrange for the “candidate” to be situated in a military unit as a battle paramedic, bypassing standard legal protocols.
The individual intended to procure the agreed sum following the attainment of a deal, but authorities apprehended him while he was accepting the funds, pursuant to Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Subject to the instructions of the Obolon District Attorney’s Office, the individual has been served with a notification of suspicion under Clause 2 of Article 28 and Clause 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
A restraining order was issued against him – incarceration with the potential to post bail amounting to UAH 3.3 million.

The Prosecutor General’s Office pointed out that the detained individual is also under suspicion in relation to the traffic incident where there were casualties.
