Investigators from the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office have formally accused three Russian military personnel. They fatally shot an individual without weapons in Hostomel in March of 2022.
Detectives of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office have announced indictments against three Russian soldiers who, back in March of 2022, amidst the seizure of Gostomel, followed a wrongful command from their superior to assassinate a non-combatant. This information comes from the Prosecutor General's Office, as UNN reports.

It’s mentioned that the head of the assault team instructed his team members to open fire on an unarmed individual, dressed as a civilian, with no involvement in military actions. The occupiers stopped him on a public road and shot him with an automatic weapon. The man instantly died on location due to a head injury.
The inquiry determined that all three service members were completely aware that they were facing a civilian.
The commander is being accused of breaching the regulations and practices of warfare, along with deliberate homicide. The subordinates will face responsibility for perpetrating a war crime as a collective.
The investigation encompassed examining crime scenes, multiple medical and genetic analyses, exhumation, scrutiny of mobile device data, questioning witnesses, and identification procedures.
The investigation included inspections of the scene, a number of forensic and genetic examinations, exhumation, analysis of mobile data, witness interviews and identification.
