A charge sheet has been presented in Poltava Oblast concerning an ex-member of the police force who, being inebriated, perpetrated a deadly road incident. Two sisters, both aged 17, who were pedestrians on the roadside in Karlivka, succumbed to their injuries from the impact.
A bill of indictment has been lodged in Poltava Oblast regarding a one-time member of the police force, who, while under the influence, precipitated a deadly traffic collision in Karlivka: two sisters, both 17 years of age, who were walking by the road, lost their lives due to the crash. This is according to information from the Prosecutor General's Office, UNN reports.
With the procedural guidance of the Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office, a bill of indictment against a former police officer has been directed to the court.

On the evening of November 30, 2025, in the town of Karlivka, he, operating his personal Hyundai Tucson, struck two sisters of 17 years, who were walking along the side of the street. The pair of young women died immediately from the inflicted injuries.
The inquiry ascertained that the individual driving was intoxicated (1.7 ppm) and was travelling at a rate surpassing 100 km/h inside the inhabited area.
The erstwhile law enforcement official has since been terminated from his position and remains in detention. He faces accusations under Part 4 of Article 286-1 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code.
