Based on the inquiry, a revenue assessment demonstrated that the functionary realistically could accrue at most 9 million UAH, considering all prior earnings from outside of government employment.

The Director of the Department for Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the Kyiv City State Administration has been presented with a notice of suspicion. The probe indicates that in his yearly declaration for 2023, he gave untrustworthy details about savings totaling 22 million UAH. This information has been disseminated by the Office of the Prosecutor General, UNN informs.
In his annual statement for 2023, the director of the Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the Kyiv City State Administration disclosed savings of 31 million UAH. Nevertheless, according to the investigation, a revenue study revealed that he realistically could amass no more than 9 million UAH – even when factoring in all revenue earned prior to entering civil employment.

It is also reported that, based on initial details, the functionary acquired an apartment valued at 8.4 million UAH, Infiniti and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and other properties. Notwithstanding these considerable outlays, the indicated sum of “savings” in the declaration essentially remained static.
Thus, the declaration included imprecise data amounting to 22 million UAH. The investigation suggests these sums might have been listed with the intention of subsequent legitimization of costly acquisitions. Prosecutors from the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office have served the official a notice of suspicion as per Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
