The Kyiv Court of Appeal has lowered the bond amount for the erstwhile magistrate, Oleksiy Tandyr, to 20 million hryvnias. State attorneys had insisted on keeping the accused, involved in a deadly traffic incident, in confinement without any possibility of release on bail.

According to her declaration, the prosecution petitioned for a restraining order in the form of confinement without the option of monetary release.
