Zelensky: Ukraine-US talks in Rada are constructive

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an evening video address, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, this is already the second meeting of the Ukrainian and American teams in Saudi Arabia, this time at a more technical level – Ukrainian military, Ukrainian diplomats, representatives of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy.

“I just spoke with Rustem Umerov, and he informed me about the meeting and the progress of the negotiations. Our team is working absolutely constructively, the conversation was very useful. The work of the delegations continues,” the Head of State noted.

“But no matter what we are talking about with our partners now, we need to push Putin to give a real order to start the strikes: whoever brought this war must also remove it,” Zelensky emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, on Sunday, March 23, a meeting of the Ukrainian delegation with the American team began in Radha (Saudi Arabia) to discuss complex technical issues.

The Ukrainian delegation is headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and includes State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleksandr Karasevich, Deputy Heads of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa and Ihor Zhovkva, and Deputy Minister of Energy Mika Kisnyk.

According to Rustem Umerov, the teams are currently working on solving a number of complex technical issues – the Ukrainian delegation includes energy specialists, as well as military representatives from the naval and air components.
