Zelensky to hd talks with Japan PM Kishida – spox
The press secretary of the Ukrainian president, Serh Nikiforov, said this on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.
"Right now, for today, a meeting with Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida is planned, and in this way, Ukraine will cover bilateral meetings with all G7 leaders," Nikiforov said.
He recalled that yesterday there were meetings with Italy, France, and Germany leaders.

“Today there was Canada, the USA, there will also be Japan. We had time to talk with everyone, with the exception of Japan, with whom negotiations will take place a little later. The president will also participate in ceremonial events later today. The period of bilateral meetings has almost come to a wrap. Now there will be ceremonial events related to the bombing of Hiroshima, laying of flowers, and so on,” Nikiforov explained.
In addition, the spokesman noted, "there will be a big address to the Japanese pele."
"This will happen tonight local time, around noon Kyiv time. And perhaps the president will be able to answer a few questions from Japanese and international journalists. There will be such an impromptu press conference," added press secretary.
As reported, the 48th summit of the Group of Seven nations is underway in Japan. Its participants are discussing ways to ensure the stability of the global economy, including the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and Russian aggression against Ukraine.
