Zelensky, Rutte discuss situation on battlefield, military aid
In a phone call, President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky thanked Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte for providing the Patriot surface-to-air missile system and the joint decision with Denmark to send 14 Leard 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Had a fruitful call with Mark Rutte. Discussed the situation at the front. I thanked for providing Patriot, the joint decision with Denmark to provide 14 Leard 2, the allocation of EUR 274 million from the EUR 2.5 billion support package for Ukraine. We keep working with the Netherlands to hd the aggressor to account,” Zelensky wrote.
A reminder that the Netherlands and Denmark will send 14 German-made Leard 2A4 main battle tanks to Ukraine.
