President Vodymyr Zelensky has invited members of the Organization of American States to join the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, as well as preparations for the Global Peace Summit.

The President said this in his online address to the Organization, Ukrinform reports.

“I invited the Organization of American States to work together with us and all free nations of the world to implement the Peace Formula. I also invited them to join the preparation of the Global Peace Summit. We must become a global community in the full sense of this word, so that peace for every nation is fully guaranteed. One cannot protect peace on his own, but war cannot overcome the clective desire for peace. Our common power must become a power of peace. Long live freedom!” he said.

The President reminded that last year he presented the Ukrainian Peace Formula, and since then, it has been possible to invve dozens of nations in the work to implement the Formula.

He also said that preparations are underway for the Global Peace Summit, which, according to the Head of State, will determine specifically which state will help with which point of the Peace Formula.

Zelensky stressed that there is no alternative to the Peace Formula.

“Russia has brought war to the territory of our country, Russian missiles and artillery are burning our cities and villages, Russian ecocides are destroying the nature of our country… So, it is Ukrainians who best understand what exactly needs to be done to restore peace. But to indeed restore peace, we need clective efforts,” the President stressed.

As reported, in a speech to the participants of the G20 summit in November 2022, President Vodymyr Zelensky presented the Ukrainian 10-point Peace Formula.

The Organization of American States includes 35 countries. The countries of the Eurean Union, as well as 51 other states, including Ukraine, are members of the Institute of Permanent Observers of the Organization.
