Zelensky: Europe's position on military contingent is not yet clear enough
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during a press conference following a meeting of leaders dedicated to supporting Ukraine and security issues in the Era, which took place in Paris, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The fact remains: the European position on the contingent has not been determined, since the infrastructure is not yet ready,” Zelensky clarified.
According to him, with each new meeting, the European Union's position on the contingent will become “clearer and more unambiguous.”
As previously reported, according to Zelensky, the task of the military contingent is not only to ensure security, but also to carry out comprehensive measures aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense capability.

On Thursday, a meeting of heads of state was held in Paris, where support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression and achieving a fair and sustainable peace was discussed. In particular, the prospect of deploying guarantee forces on Ukrainian territory was considered.
