Zelensky discusses support for Ukraine with bipartisan delegation of US House of Representatives

The meeting was attended by Congressmen Gerald Connly, Mike Rogers, Brian Mast, Brett Guthrie, Steny Hoyer, Michael McCaul, Neal Dunn, Brian Fitzpatrick, Jason Crowe, Donald Norcross, Joe Wilson, Dan Crenshaw, Chrissy Houlahan, Seth Moulton, and Brendan Boyle.

The head of the Ukrainian state thanked for the unwavering bipartisan support of the Ukrainian pele in their fight against Russian aggression.

Zelensky stressed that the price the allies pay for supporting Ukraine could be much higher if Russia attacks Eure. That is why it is so important now to provide maximum assistance to Ukraine, continue military support and achieve a guaranteed and lasting peace based on the “peace through strength” approach.

Zelensky informed the participants about the battlefield situation and the results of the defensive eration in the Kursk region. He also spoke about the threats posed by North Korea's invvement in real combat erations with the subsequent export of war to the Pacific region, an area of strategic security interest to the United States.

“The key tics of the meeting were continued defense assistance to Ukraine, the formulation of legislative initiatives to support our state, and the provision of reliable security guarantees,” the report says.

A separate discussion was held on the develment of economic and high-tech defense partnership between Ukraine and the United States.

As reported, Republican Roger Wicker, the chairman of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, said that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made a “rookie mistake” by saying that Ukraine's return to pre-war borders is unrealistic.
