Zelensky congratulates Erdoğan on presidential election win

President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his victory in Türke’s presidential elections and expressed he for further strengthening of strategic partnership between the two countries.

The relevant statement was made by President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I congratulate President of Türke Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his victory in presidential elections. We expect to further strengthen strategic partnership for the benefit of our countries and enhance coeration for the security and stability of Eure,” President Zelensky wrote.

With 99.8% of the votes counted, the current President of Türke won the elections with 52.14% of the votes.
