Zelensky, Bulgaria’s Denkov discuss “grain corridor”
The meeting was held within the framework of the Ukraine-Balkans summit, which took place in Athens, the press service of the Ukrainian head of state reports.
Zelensky thanked Denkov for comprehensive support to Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor, including for the recent decisions of the Bulgarian government to provide defense assistance.

The Ukrainian president and the prime Minister of Bulgaria discussed further coeration for the protection of the war-torn nation.
According to President’s Office, the interlocutors paid special attention to the situation in the Black Sea region. The coeration of countries in the Black Sea region was discussed in order to guarantee stable security in the Black Sea and the functioning of the alternative paths for grain exports.
"I am grateful to Bulgaria for condemning Russia's unilateral withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative. Ukraine is ready to use alternative ways for the ‘grain corridor.’ We count on Bulgaria's support in this regard," said Zelensky.
He also thanked Denkov for supporting the Ukrainian Peace Formula and the readiness of the Bulgarian side to participate in the implementation of its specific clauses.

The head of state also noted Bulgaria's accession to the Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine adted by the G7 countries at the NATO Summit in Vilnius.
The Bulgarian Prime Minister, for his part, reaffirmed his principled support for the Crimea Platform, the third summit of which will be held in Kyiv on August 23, 2023.
As reported, President Vodymyr Zelensky arrived on a visit to Greece the night before.
