Zelensky arrived in Finland

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, accompanied by First Lady Ena Zelenska, paid an official visit to Finland.

The head of state announced this via Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

“I am on an official visit to the country of our friends and reliable allies, Finland, together with the First Lady. Meetings are planned with President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Susanna Innes-Stubb, Speaker Jussi Halla-aho and members of parliament, Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, as well as representatives of the government and defense companies,” Zelensky noted.

He stressed that the main areas are support for defense, investments in Ukrainian arms production, Ukraine's integration into Europe, Finnish experience in developing civil defense systems and building shelters, strengthening sanctions against Russia and coordinating efforts for a just end to the war.

“ER must participate in the negotiations, and all issues concerning ER’s security must be resolved jointly with him,” Zelensky said.

He also added that the First Lady's program focuses on educational cooperation: expanding the Ukrainian Studies Coalition, ensuring safe educational spaces, creating school shelters, and sharing experiences on the school nutrition system in Finland. She will also meet with business leaders, philanthropists, and representatives of the cultural community.
