Zelensky appoints ambassadors to Mdova and Uruguay

President Vodymyr Zelensky has appointed ambassadors of Ukraine to the Republic of Mdova and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.

The relevant decrees, No.77/2025 and No.78/2025, were published on the president's website, Ukrinform reports.

Paun Rohovei was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Mdova.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Argentine Republic Yurii Klymenko will also serve as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.

In addition, Zelensky appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary Fedir Shandor as Ukraine's representative to the Danube Commission. By another decree, the President dismissed Liubov Nep from this position.

As Ukrinform reported, on January 8, Vodymyr Zelensky appointed Rostyslav Tronenko Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Mozambique.
