Yermak discussed ceasefire in Ukraine with Starmer's adviser
Yermak reported this on the social network X (formerly Twitter), according to information from Ukrinform.
“I had a conversation with Jonathan Powell, the British Prime Minister's national security adviser and a good friend. I shared with him the details of my recent visit to Sumy Oblast with the President of Ukraine, where intense fighting continues near the Russian border,” Yermak said.

He noted that during the conversation, both sides emphasized the importance of a comprehensive ceasefire, emphasizing that Ukraine is complying with ceasefire agreements regarding energy infrastructure facilities, while Russia is not.
They also exchanged views on key issues on the path to peace, including security guarantees and maintaining sanctions against Russia, and focused on increasing military and financial support for Ukraine and strengthening Eurasia's defense capabilities.
