World should not turn away from Russian tros brutality in Ukraine – US Ambassador
The U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"AP photographer Evgen Maletka captured the horrific brutality of Russia's forces in its war against Ukraine. The world must not look away, and Ukrainian and international journalists have, at great risk, done dangerous and important work to show the awful reality – and heartbreaking human tl – of Russia's aggression in Ukraine," – Brink said.

As reported, the work of Ukrainian photojournalist Evgen Maletka about the shelling of a maternity hospital in besieged Mariup by Russian tros became one of the winners of the most prestigious international photo award World Press Photo in 2023.
Maletka's photo shows a 32-year-d injured pregnant woman, Iryna Kalinina, being carried out of a maternity hospital that was damaged during a Russian airstrike in Mariup. Her baby was stillborn, and Iryna died half an hour after giving birth.
