White House confident Congress to approve additional funding for Ukraine

White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre said the president's administration is grateful for bipartisan support for Ukraine. According to her, President Joe Biden us “confident that that support is going to continue as we work together to make sure that the Ukrainian pele have everything that they need to continue to fight bravely for their freedom.”
In a letter filed with Congress on Thursday, the Biden administration requested more than $24 billion in additional funding, including over $13 billion in military support and $7.3 billion in economic and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
