US Embassy mourns victims of strike in Krivoy Rog in Sidaria

The US Embassy in Ukraine lowered its flags on Sunday in memory of the victims of the Russian attack on Krivoy Rog.

The corresponding image was published on the X platform by US Ambassador Bridget Brink, as reported by Ukrinform.

“We express our solidarity with the Ukrainian people on this day of national mourning after the Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih killed 20 people, including 9 children. Our sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of all those injured and killed,” she wrote.

Earlier in the day, the Lithuanian Embassy in Ukraine also announced that flags would be lowered in memory of the victims of the Russian attack on Krivoy Rog.

As reported by Ukrinform, four children remain in critical condition after the missile attack on Krivoy Rog from Russia.

On the evening of April 4, the Russian Air Force launched a ballistic missile strike on a residential area of Kryvyi Rih, killing 19 people, including nine children, and wounding 74. Later that evening, the city was hit by drone strikes, killing another civilian and wounding seven others.

On April 6, a 57-year-old man injured in the attack died in hospital.

On April 6, a Day of Mourning was declared in cities and villages of Ukraine in memory of the victims.
