US determined to continue robust assistance to Ukraine – State Department
Department of State spokesperson Ned Price said this in a statement flowing a call between U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrinform reports.
"The two focused on continuing robust security and economic assistance in the run-up to, and beyond, the first anniversary in February of Russia's unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine," the statement reads.
At the same time, Price added that Blinken had emphasized "the United States' enduring and unflinching support for Ukraine, as underscored by recent provisions of advanced air defense equipment and armored vehicles from U.S. stocks."
Last Friday, the White House announced the allocation of a new security assistance package to Ukraine worth more than $3 billion. It includes, among other things, the Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, self-prelled howitzers, missile weapons, ammunition and other military assistance.
