Ukrainian-Russian meeting on shipping safety in the Black Sea to be held in Ankara – media

On April 15-16, representatives of Ukraine and Russia will gather in Ankara to discuss issues of shipping safety in the Black Sea.

CNN Türk reported this, citing sources in the Turkish Ministry of Defense, Ukrinform reports.

“Officials from Russia and Ukraine will meet at the Naval Command Headquarters in Ankara to discuss security issues in the Black Sea,” the channel reported.

Bulgaria has previously proposed the creation of a multinational maritime coordination centre to ensure safe navigation in the western Black Sea.
