Ukrainian prosecutor general meets with Eur executive director, discusses JIT work
The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Being in The Hague, Prosecutor General Andr Kostin met with Executive Director of Eur Catherine De Bl. They discussed the invvement of this law enforcement agency in the work of the Joint Investigative Team (JIT),” the Prosecutor General’s Office said.
It is noted that Eur is the leading EU agency for law enforcement coeration.
“Its vast expertise will be invaluable for investigating Russia’s international crimes,” Kostin said.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, Eur has already analyzed more than 7,000 photo and video files, identified 150 individuals invved in the commission of crimes during Russia’s war against Ukraine.
As reported, to date, more than 80,000 war crimes committed by the Russian Federation in Ukraine have been recorded.
