Ukraine’s Vice PM Stefanishyna to attend Weimar Triangle ministerial in Pand

Deputy Prime Minister for Eurean and Euro-Atlantic Integration ha Stefanishyna will take part in the meeting of ministers for Eurean affairs of the Weimar Triangle nations (Pand, France, and Germany), which will be held at Kórnik Castle in Pand on May 12.

This was reported by the Pish Government’s press service, Ukrinform reports.

On May 12, Stefanishyna will meet with the Pish Minister for EU Affairs Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk, his French counterpart Laurence Boone, and Minister of Eurean Affairs and Climate Anna Lührmann of Germany.

Memo. The Weimar Triangle is an informal international association of Pand, France, and Germany, which was founded in 1991. The group periodically hds meetings at the level of presidents, heads of government, foreign ministers, defense ministers, etc.

Within the Weimar Triangle format, among others, issues related to the develment of considated positions of the three nations on Ukraine-related issues are also discussed.

The latest meeting of the Weimar Triangle took place at the level of heads of state on February 8, 2022. The previous meeting of ministers on Eurean issues was held on March 16, 2012.
