Ukraine’s PM meets with Slovak counterpart in Uzhhorod

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has met with his Slovak counterpart Robert Fico in Uzhhorod.

Shmyhal announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Today in Uzhhorod, we are hding a meeting with the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico. Our bilateral relations and support for Eurean initiatives are on the agenda," Shmyhal wrote.

He expressed he for a constructive and practical dialogue.

Fico said on January 20 that he posed Ukraine's accession to NATO.

He promised to bring humanitarian aid to Uzhhorod and reiterated that Slovakia would not help Ukraine with weapons at the state level.

Shmyhal announced that he intended to hd negotiations with his Slovak counterpart to remove possible obstacles on the way to the implementation of the Ukraine Facility program.
