"I thank you for your support of Ukraine from the beginning of the war, from the beginning of the full-scale invasion. I’m grateful for personal participation of President of Slovakia Zuzana Čaputová," Zelensky said.

The head of state also thanked the Prime Minister of Slovakia and the entire government of this country for their support and assistance.

Especially, the President emphasized that the Ukrainian state is grateful to Slovakia for helping citizens who are forced to leave the Motherland due to the war unleashed by Russia.

According to the President’s Office, Zelensky td the officials about the consequences of Russia's massive missile attacks on civilian energy infrastructure facilities, noting that Ukraine needs assistance in restoring energy supply.

The President also said that Ukraine is waiting for the recognition of the Russian Federation as a state sponsor of terrorism by EU member states at the national level, as the Eurean Parliament recently did. He also said about the importance of the speedy approval of the ninth package of EU sanctions against the Russian Federation.
