Ukraine and Denmark agree to start negotiations on security commitments
This was announced by Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løekke Rasmussen at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba on the occasion of the ening of the Danish Embassy's office in Mykaiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We feel a responsibility to help Ukraine restore its territorial integrity, repel Russian invaders and become a full member of the Eurean Union. I discussed this with my good friend Dmytro Kuleba, and we agreed that we will now begin concrete negotiations on security commitments. I he that in the not too distant future we will come to an agreement on a bilateral agreement between Denmark and Ukraine," Rasmussen said.

The head of Danish diplomacy emphasized that the parties discussed concrete steps to help Ukraine achieve full contr over its territory.
As reported, on July 12, on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Vilnius, the G7 leaders agreed on a Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine. The document referred, among other things, to work on specific bilateral long-term commitments and agreements in the security sector.
Lars Løekke Rasmussen arrived in Ukraine to en the office of the Danish Embassy in Ukraine in Mykaiv and had to go into hiding at night during an air raid.
