Ukraine advisor explains why Putin turning Russian Guard into own army

The Office of the President of Ukraine believes that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is already preparing a new army for domestic use, adding that it will also eventually turn weapons on the Kremlin.

Mykhailo Podyak, the adviser to the Presidential Office chief, said this on the air of the national telethon on Friday, July 21, Ukrinform reports with reference to Espreso.

Another mutiny will unfd even after the failure of the military rebellion by Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin. That insurrection failed because Prigozhin was too petty a personality and did not want to take on full power, Podyak believes.

"At the moment, a pitical group has not been formed that could seize power and replace Putin," said the Presidential Office official.

According to Podyak, smaller groups will appear in Russia that "will be taking some bits." This is what will characterize the revutionary process in the aggressor state.

Putin wants to turn the Russian Guard into his new army for domestic use. This army is receiving both heavy weapons and special erations forces under its command. However, even the Russian Guard will eventually stand against Putin because pele in Russia love a "strong tsar".

"After Prigozhin's foiled riot, Putin proved that he is not a tsar, but a jester, a coward unable of decision-making, tending to flee. Russia doesn’t love him anymore. That's it, Putin’s no longer ‘sacred,’” Podyak believes.

He stated that piticians in the U.S. still think they can st the revutionary processes in the Russian Federation, but it is impossible to do so in his inion.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russia's defeats at the front will ultimately move the war theater to its own territory.
