Trump administration sends erroneous email ordering Ukrainians to leave country – Reuters
Reuters and Ukrinform report this.
“If you do not leave the United States immediately, you may face possible law enforcement action, which may result in your removal from the United States,” the letter sent Thursday said. “DHS will again revoke your agreement. Do not attempt to remain in the United States.”
However, a Homeland Security Department spokesman said Friday that the letter was sent in error and that Ukraine's PAR program, established after the 2022 Russian invasion, has not been suspended. It is unclear how many Ukrainians received the message.

On Friday, the Department of Homeland Security notified them that the order was in error and that “the terms of your agreement as originally provided remain in effect at this time.”
It is not yet clear how many Ukrainians were the recipients of this erroneous email.
Last month, Reuters reported that the Trump administration planned to end temporary legal status for about 240,000 Ukrainians who fled the conflict with Russia, a move that would reverse support for Ukrainians under President Joe Biden's administration.
In early March, US President Donald Trump said he would soon make a decision on the temporary status of Ukrainian refugees in the US, adding that he did not want to harm anyone.
