The Verkhovna Rada approved the sending of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine abroad

The Rada approved the Presidential Decree “On the sending of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to other states”
On Thursday, October 9, the Verkhovna Rada generally supported bill No. 14059 on approving the presidential decree “On sending units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to other states.” 282 people's deputies voted for the document.
The explanatory note to the bill indicates where exactly the Ukrainian units will be sent. The Navy corvette “Hetman Ivan Mazepa” (type “Ada”) with a full-time crew of up to 106 servicemen is planned to be sent to Turkey. The management of the first division of mine countermeasure ships of the Navy Flotilla as part of the mine countermeasure headquarters (up to 20 servicemen) and the mine countermeasure ships “Chernihiv”, “Genichesk”, “Cherkasy”, “Mariupol”, “Melitopol” – each with a full-time crew of up to 39 servicemen – are to go to Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
People's Deputy from the “European Solidarity” party Iryna Gerashchenko clarified that a total of 321 servicemen of the Ukrainian Navy are planned to be sent to Turkey and the United Kingdom to master and master complex equipment.
Previously, Ukrainian units have already participated in exercises and joint operations with partners – the current decision formalizes the deployment and defines specific components of the forces and quantitative indicators. The goal is to improve the skills of personnel and the ability to work with modern equipment in cooperation with allies.
The ships are already abroad
Earlier, the Informant wrote that the explanatory note shows that in fact all the units provided for by the unpublished presidential decree are already abroad. And the units will not be able to return to Ukraine due to a ban from Turkey, which is based on the so-called Montreux Convention. Or the Convention on the Bosporus and Dardanelles Straits.
Most likely, at the beginning of the war, Ukraine withdrew parts of its Black Sea Fleet from enemy attack. Since this took place in conditions of active aggression, this decision had no legal basis.
