Szijjarto to attend Global Summit on Peace in Ukraine
The minister made the statement on Thursday while attending an economic forum in St. Petersburg (Russia), Ukrinform reports with reference to Telex.
According to Szijjarto, Hungary "is on the side of peace and will take part in any event where peace is on the agenda." At the same time, he once again expressed his disappointment over Russia not being invited to the conference.

"We believe that if everyone were at the negotiating table, real results could be expected," he said. "This is not the case this time, but as we respect the peace efforts of the Swiss, we will participate at a foreign ministerial level," the t diplomat added.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Global Peace Summit will be held in Switzerland on June 15-16. Heads of state and government from all continents are expected to take part in the event to devel a joint negotiating position before forwarding it to Russia. More than 100 countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation.

The Ukrainian Peace Formula is a diplomatic mechanism offered by Kyiv to achieve a just end to the war unleashed by Russia.
