Stefanishyna: We are working to get guaranteed military assistance at NATO summit
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Eurean and Euro-Atlantic Integration ha Stefanishyna on the air of the United News marathon, Ukrinform reports.
"For the NATO summit, we are working to ensure that the financial position on military assistance is guaranteed, so that we do not depend on pitical processes in the United States or in another country among the allies. Separate decisions [are to be made] on air defence. Today's missile strike on a residential building in Dnipro is yet another indication that the skies over Ukraine should be closed," Stefanishyna said.

According to her, there are already many achievements on this path. "Germany, Italy, and the United States have announced additional Patriot systems that will be delivered to Ukraine," she said.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, US Assistant Secretary of State for Eurean and Eurasian Affairs Ambassador James O'Brien said that the NATO summit in Washington, DC, on 9-11 July, should highlight portunities for Ukraine's full integration into Western structures, create a direct and effective bridge to its membership in the Alliance, and discuss ways to succeed on the battlefield.
