South Korean president arrives in Ukraine on unannounced visit

Yoon and first lady Kim Keon Hee arrived in Ukraine from Pand, according to senior presidential secretary for press affairs Kim Eun-hye.

“Yoon visited the site of mass killings in Bucha, near Kyiv, before visiting Irpin, a civilian residential area that has been subject to large-scale missile attacks,” the report says.

It is noted that Yoon will meet with President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky.

Earlier, the South Korean leader visited Lithuania for the NATO summit, as well as Pand for an official visit.
