Senior Russian diplomat arrives in Pyongyang, likely to discuss US talks – media
This was reported by the Renhap agency, citing state media of the DPRK, Ukrinform reports.
It is specified that Russian diplomats visited North Korea for the first time since June 2024, when they accompanied Russian President Vladimir Putin on his trip to Pyongyang for talks with DPRK leader Kim Jong-un.
Specific details of Rudenko's visit are not yet known, but experts speculate that he may be there to clarify his country's position on the American ceasefire proposal and to discuss the possibility of Pyongyang sending additional military aircraft to support Russia's military actions.
