Romania to allocate $800,000 to Ukraine through NATO mechanisms
This was stated by Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu at a ministerial meeting of the Alliance countries, Ukrinform reports referring to NewsMaker.
Aurescu confirmed that NATO will continue to support Ukraine for as long as necessary.
"As I said before, if we want peace in the region, in the Euro-Atlantic space, we have to help Ukraine win this war, there is no other tion," Aurescu said.
At the same time, the Romanian minister added that other NATO partners who found themselves in a vulnerable position during the war also need support.
"We must also support other vulnerable partners in the region, such as Mdova, which is the target of Russia's destabilizing actions," the t Romanian diplomat emphasized.

Aurescu also pointed out that Romania will allocate $750,000 to Mdova as part of the same initiative.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis spoke out of strengthening NATO's eastern flank and enhancing the Alliance's presence in the Black Sea, which is of extreme strategic importance, especially now.
