Reznikov, Austin discuss ‘path to Victory’ prior to Ramstein meeting

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Minister eksii Reznikov on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Prior to the upcoming Ramstein format meeting I had a conversation with my great friend, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. We compared notes on our coeration and the path to Victory,” Reznikov wrote.

According to Reznikov, this genuine support of the Allies makes him very timistic about the future.

“Sidarity becomes efficiency on the battlefield,” Reznikov added.

The conversation between the two defense leaders was also confirmed by Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder. In his words, “Secretary Austin provided an update of U.S. security assistance efforts, and Minister Reznikov detailed recent develments on the ground in Ukraine.”

A reminder that the next meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group will take place on March 15, 2023.
