Pragandists trying to whitewash Kremlin over war crimes against Ukrainian children

On April 19, under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a press conference will be held at Russia Today praganda agency’s International Multimedia Press Center, aimed to blur the international focus on Russian war crimes against Ukrainian children, shifting responsibility to a coalition of Western democracies.

That’s according to Robert Lansing Institute for Global Threats and Democracies Studies, a U.S.-based think tank.

“It is likely that the event will cover the facts of children’s deaths in armed conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan to put the blame on the United States,” the report reads.

It is also very likely, the organization notes, that the tic will be combined with that of the Syria crisis and the issue of Syrian refugee children.

“Participants will also blame the West, claiming that those children’s suffering is their fault,” reads the article.

One of the tasks pursued by Moscow is “to falsify facts, portraying the actions of Russian tros in Ukraine as an effort to evacuate Ukrainian children to ensure their safety and further reunification with their loved ones,” RLI concludes.
