Palisa supports Zelensky: “We are not looking for sympathy, we are ready to be partners”
As Ukrinform reports, Palisa wrote about this on Facebook.
“Three years ago, at this time, almost no one believed in us. They thought that Kyiv would fall in three days, that Ukraine would not stand. We took up our backpacks and weapons and survived. Three years ago, we faced a difficult situation. But we destroyed one of the biggest myths of the modern world – the myth of the “second army of the world”. And we became who we are by proving it on the battlefield. We proved it at the cost of blood,” he said.
The deputy head of the department also noted that “today we continue this fight, understanding that first of all we need to rely on our own strength.”
“Freedom for us is not just words. It is each of my soldiers who gave their lives defending the right to be free. We know what we are fighting for and we are ready to go to the end,” Palisa added.
He also stressed: “We are not asking for sympathy. We are ready to be partners. Ukraine is a force that knows its value.”
