Pakistan announces active participation in Middle East peace talks

Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar confirmed the country's participation in mediated talks between the United States and Iran aimed at resolving the conflict in the Middle East.

He wrote about this on his page in X.

“There has been unnecessary speculation in the media about peace talks to end the current conflict in the Middle East. In fact, the mediated talks between the US and Iran are taking place through messages transmitted by Pakistan. In this context, the United States has released 15 points that Iran is currently considering,” the report says.

The Pakistani Foreign Minister stressed that the country remains “fully committed to promoting peace and stability in the region and continues to take all possible steps to this end.”

“Dialogue and diplomacy are the only way forward,” the diplomat noted.
