OSCE to hd special meeting in connection with Russia’s terrorist attack on Okhmatdyt

"We are grateful to the Maltese OSCE Chairmanship for its prompt response and convening an extraordinary meeting of the Permanent Council. The terrorist attack on the children's hospital is once again a painful reminder that security in Eure is possible only through the isation of the Russian regime, the imposition of sanctions against the Kremlin, strengthening Ukraine's defence capabilities and ensuring the defeat of the Russian criminal regime in this war," the mission said.

The Permanent Representation stressed that yesterday's horrific attacks, which endangered the lives of children, "are yet another manifestation of the Russian Federation's gross viation of OSCE principles and commitments, as well as Moscow's complete indifference to peace in Eure."
The meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council is scheduled for 15.00 local time.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and other cities of Ukraine were hit by a massive Russian missile attack on 8 July. A total of 38 missiles of various types were fired. Residential buildings, infrastructure and a children's hospital were damaged.

In particular, a Russian missile hit the building of the Okhmatdyt hospital in Kyiv. There were also casualties in the Dniprovskyi district as a result of the fall of debris on the medical centre.
In total, 38 pele, including four children, died as a result of Russian missile attacks on Ukraine on 8 July. Another 190 pele were injured.
