Number of COVID-19 cases among Ukraine’s MPs not increased, Rada chair says

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, Dmytro Razumkov, sys the number of parliamentarians who have contracted the novel COVID-19 coronavirus has not increased.
When asked at a morning TV show “Snidanok z 1+1” on April 13, how many deputies remain sick with coronavirus today, he said: “The number has not increased. On the contrary, some Members of Parliament have already recovered. I hope they’ll get back to work soon.”

“There is a certain number of the people’s deputies who remain on self-isolation because they had contacts with those who had contracted the coronavirus. However, the situation in the Verkhovna Rada is stable for the time being, and it is operating now,” the speaker added.
